Thank you for considering Barnard Restaurant & Party House for your upcoming event. Our establishment offers a variety of options and a staff with the experience to provide you with an enjoyable and successful visit.
The following guidelines and procedures will insure that you are totally satisfied with your event.
We require a $200.00 deposit to secure your date, $500.00 for weddings, in the form of cash or check. Check made out to Forest Hill Catering and can be mailed to 360 Maiden Lane Roch. NY 14616. Your deposit will be applied toward your final bill at full value.
We must have a tentative count 15 days prior to your event and a final guarantee 10 days before your event. The bill will be based on the final guarantee you tell us. If more people show up you will be charged accordingly.
Menu prices are guaranteed 90 days prior to your event.
Barnard will not assume responsibility for any merchandise prior to, during or following your event.
Administrative Fee & Sales Tax
There is an 20% Administrative Fee and 8% New York State Tax on your total bill as well as a 15% Gratuity
Bands & Music
Any special effects must be approved by management.
We offer a complete selection of beverages to complement your event. Please note that Alcoholic beverage sales are regulated by the State of New York. Barnard, as a licensee is responsible for administration of these regulations. It is a policy that no liquor, beer or Wine be brought into the facility from outside sources. We do not serve shots on our bar and we do not serve alcohol to anyone under the legal age of 21.
There is a fee of $2.00 per person for linen. This will include your choice of colors and all necessary skirting of the head table, cake table etc.
Banquet & Meeting Rooms
Barnard will not permit the use of any tape, staples, nails, or any other substances used to affix items to the walls or ceiling.
The enclosed menus are offers as a guideline. The staff at Barnard would be pleased to offer specially designed menus to your specific taste.
No food or beverage may be brought into our facility or taken out of the establishment.
All cakes and pastries must come from a Monroe County Health Department approved Baker.
Payments are accepted in the form of check or cash only. No credit cards are accepted.
There is a room rental fee of $1.00 per person for all events
